sembra tu non sia il proprietario di quei files e dice che non puoi condividere quella dir

puoi aggirare l’ostacolo aggiungendo

usershare owner only = false
con sudo gedit /etc/samba/smb.conf

ma la soluzione piu` semplice probabilmente sarebbe montare il disco disk in modo da essere proprietario di quei files, senza alterare la configurazione di samba

Io vorrei invece chiederti per un problema che ho "nella direzione opposta" Hardware: 1)laptop: acer(XP professional SP2.Era un vista e poi downgradato con un crack di XP prof da quanto mi ha detto il venditore dato che l'ha comprato mia moglie) 2)fisso: con usb lan adapter Dlink(quello che da l'alice casa) perfettamente funzionante 3) gateway(router): Alice gate voip 2 plus wi-fi Ho messo samba su Intrepid(non dal tuo howto ma i passi sono quelli) in modo che ambedue(intrepid e XP prof.) facciano sia da client che da server nella condivisione Problema: da XP prof(su laptop) riesco a vedere il server samba(share) su Intrepid(PC fisso) ed ad accedere al share.Quindi in questa direzione tutto ok. Ma nella dirazione opposta da Intrepid (Places-->Network) vedo il nome del laptop(quindi il server samba windows [che è il componente della connessione "Condivisione file e stampanti per reti Windows"] viene riconosciuto da Intrepid il problema nasce quando clicco sul nome del laptop. Anziche vedere lo share ottengo un laconico "Failed to retrieve share list from server" da Intrepid. Hardware:
1)laptop: acer(XP professional SP2.Era un vista e poi downgradato con un crack di XP prof da quanto mi ha detto il venditore dato che l’ha comprato mia moglie)
2)fisso: con usb lan adapter Dlink(quello che da l’alice casa) perfettamente funzionante
3) gateway(router): Alice gate voip 2 plus wi-fi

Ho messo samba su Intrepid(non dal tuo howto ma i passi sono quelli) in modo che ambedue(intrepid e XP prof.) facciano sia da client che da server nella condivisione

Problema:
da XP prof(su laptop) riesco a vedere il server samba(share) su Intrepid(PC fisso) ed ad accedere al share.Quindi in questa direzione tutto ok.
Ma nella dirazione opposta da Intrepid (Places–>Network) vedo il nome del laptop(quindi il server samba windows [che è il componente della connessione "Condivisione file e stampanti per reti Windows"] viene riconosciuto da Intrepid il problema nasce quando clicco sul nome del laptop. Anziche vedere lo share ottengo un laconico “Failed to retrieve share list from server” da Intrepid.
